Roland M. Lynch – President, CEO


Lynch directs Capsulated Systems Inc business operations. He holds an MBA degree from the Darden School of Business of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, with emphasis in marketing and finance. He received his BA Degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia with emphasis in engineering and computer science. In 1983, he was assigned the position of Manager of Marketing and later Manager of Business Planning of an effort by a group of chemists at Mead who were developing a technology using micro-encapsulation to develop a color copying system. He lead the effort to create a business unit out of that group which later became Mead Imaging Division and later Cycolor Corporation in Dayton, Ohio. In 1985, he was hired by Capsulated Systems as Executive Vice President to lead its strategic planning direction as it prepared to evolve from a technical shop to the world's leader in cutting edge micro-encapsulation technology. In 1987, Lynch was promoted to the position of president. In 1991, he purchased controlling interest in Capsulated Systems Inc. He is a co-inventor of 4 of Capsulated Systems Inc's patents in microencapsulation and two of CSI's patents and one patent application on Prolonged Release Post-Operative Local Anesthetic.

Gary F. Hillenbrand, PhD


Hillenbrand received his PhD in polymer chemistry from Clemson University and mages CSI's polymer chemistry function and holds 13 patents


Lwandiko E. Masinde, PhD


Masinde received his PhD from the University of Wales (Cardiff, Great Britain) and completed his Post Doctoral Research at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of  Pharmacy and manages CSI's development of its Long Term Local Anesthesia product.

Edward J. Saccocio, PhD


Saccocio received his PhD in Physics from  the Rochester Institute of Technology and manages CSI's colloidal and emulsion chemistry function and  holds 14 patents.

Dale E. Work


Work received his Masters of Science in Chemistry from the University of Dayton  and  manages CSI's new product development and has over 36 years experience in micro-encapsulation development,  scale-up  and manufacturing and holds 5 patents.

Danny A. Davis


Davis received his BS in Chemistry  from Wright State University and manages CSI's capsule evaluation procedures and quality control and holds 4  patents.

Morris F. Newsom, Jr.


Newsom has over 30 years experience in micro-encapsulation development, scale-up and manufacturing and holds 5 patents.
